Guys,

Some interesting stuff flying around for the first serious move date.
Is Fox a nice guy for normally sending out a reminder, or an incompetent
for forgetting to do so yesterday.  You make the call.

Regardless, not a lot of requests this time; most were to replace
injured players.  Interestingly enough, two of the requests were to
replace players who started the year on the DL and were known to be out
at least through April: (Berkman (Terry), Frank Thomas (Babs).  Most of
the rest were guys hurt in the first month.  Most guys got their fist
pick, and only Gabes' request to replace Kevin Brown was not executed,
as he only requested Matt Morris, who went to Mags for Jerome Williams.

Dunce of the Month goes to Al, although I'm sure he can figure out how
to blame Anthony.  He had the Big Hurt as his UT, and tried to claim
Omar Vizquel and Willy Taveras.  However, he is their corner guy, so he
gets Hinske.

Here are the official moves.

The only ones screwed by Ike's picks are Al/Anthony and knowing
what gentlemen those two are I believe they will agree with the decision
to let Ike make his picks. Especially since they benefited from the late 
reminder - extension, as did many of the other owners.

Although Lyon could be the steal of this waiver period.

Meanwhile, unless someone we haven't heard from has a REALLY
good tale of woe, that's it .. no more moves this period.
