As we begin the 2026 CyberZahm Rotobaseball season, let's take a moment to reflect on two of our longtime ND teammates, roommates, friends. Al Danza and Terry McMahon left our league in 2025 and entered the Hall of Fame.

Al Danza, the one and only, was a central figure in gathering this band of brothers in our ND formative years. He had a certain aura about him that grabbed center stage, much to his liking! Al could dance around a thought/idea in extreme verbal fluency. Likewise he could cut to the chase with a simple, straightforward short and "sweet" blurt. A great gatherer of friends, play-by-play sportscaster, and extremely logical thinker and planner (so he claimed). His Panza team was a multi-season winner, even though he often handicapped himself with too much reliance on Mets players.

Terry McMahon traversed our world, first as a quiet but opinionated Zahmbie, continuing into an apparent turbulent world of law, mates, and general skulduggery. He had a colorful, and often adversarial, point of view. Rarely, thoughtful moments escaped his critical demeanor, he being a sugar-coated pill turned inside out. He was a dedicated Rotoballer, but his Expectorators always fell short of the crown. His Chat Room stream of conscious (or unconscious?) comments were a highlight of our Drafts.

So, Al and Terry now join our former King, Willo, in a league of their own on the field of dreams. Play ball my friends.
