The Odyssey was indeed worth the drive- of course for me that was not an
issue.  It was great to see those who made it, and sad to miss those who did
not.  The company, wine, story-telling, camaraderie, traditional
ball-busting, and scat were all a welcome escape from all that is external
to our little band of friends.  I am always amazed after so many years how
strikingly true to character we all are compared with our college selves.
Or at least it quickly seems that way.  It was a great visit with friends-
Ikey, you and Alison did a great job.  Thanks.   Gabes, John, and you other
fishermen, I may have to take up fishing at the next gathering.  My golf
"game" sucks and they don't sell clubs with saw blades attached.

Perhaps we can re-do the Cooperstown Odyssey if the stars all align
properly, and if Ikey can handle it.
