Subject: Re: The Reunion Dear Albert, I heard you had an ND reunion at your palatial long island estate last week. How could you have a reunion and not invite rpd? We missed an opportunity to join the junior year "gang of four," the Willo, the Fox, Andy McD and yours truly! You remember --- the guys that befriended you when no one else would give you the time of day. Could it be that, after all these years, you still fear me because I am the only one who remembers all the embarassing and ignominious years you spent at ND and that I would unearth all those incidents that you have been trying to live down since I last laid eyes on you 25 (yes, 25!) years ago. My sources (like those of another "well-known" recluse, Howard Hughes) tell me that the next reunion will be held in minnesota. Now, there's an uninviting forum. Unless, of course, you think you can attract any of those nubile swedish girls. Now, Albert, a man your age...........what drugs are you on? ********************************************************************** Subject: RE: The Reunion Bob, So... you have some moles out there, eh? Well, sorry you didn't make the "A" list for the shindig. Requirements were at least three e-mails and/or two phone calls w/in the last twelve months. You fell woefully short on either count. As far as my fear of facing the facts of my embarassingly dull social life over a four year span at ND... well, I had an awful lot of company this weekend. That helped soothe the pain. As far as MN as the next venue... I get the pleasure of traveling there a few times a year now w/ my new company, so I could easily be talked into a change of scenery. Tom P. has been verykind to offer to host, and Gabes feels it would be rude of us to not accept his magnanimous gesture. I, on the other hand, see Myrtle Beach as a preferred location. Sun, sand, golf, fishing, tennis, restaurants, nightclubs... young married Southern women coming in from nearby towns to carouse a bit w/ those Northern golf bachelors. And amazingly inexpensive. But if it is MN, then I'll start working on those nubile Swedish ladies from my old Ericsson connections. Albert
