Subject: Re: Palooza in retro Great job Albert, Andy. Not much to add, but I'll try: Fox, Albert, Guy and Preppy wave the following golfers onto a par 3 on Wednesday, and as Andy steps to the plate we, in unison, move to the safest spot on the course ... all clustered around the pin. Andy shanks it to the left leaving an impossible blind uphill shot with no green to work with and just smiles and shrugs. However, he pulls off one of the best shots of the week by somehow getting the ball to within two feet and making his par. Willo was very philosophical Wed night ... charming actually. Albert's kids were great! Florance too of course. Wow does that John Daly take a whack at the ball or what! And Tiger's not so big after all. Did anyone else notice a resemblence between Jack and our Hans? Sobo was a magnet for tennis balls. Whack, whack whack! Sitting in the pool with a beer ... "hey Billy, I need another ... uh, could you open it ... thanks man" On Friday night when we finally found a parking spot at the club, a van of 8 girls out on a bachelerette party pulls in beside us as the driver yells out "Hey guys, I've got a bunch of girls in here who need escorted to the club, and they are all younger and hornier than I am". Guy and I immediately headed back, then Guy stops and yells at the retreating Al, Hans, and Gabes "What, somebody yells that at you and you beat a retreat???" It was so great to see most of the Danza clan, and I even got to talk to Joanie on the phone. Carol remembered me!! We had been jokingly calling Guy "Billy the pool boy" or just "Billy" after awhile. Remember Al's puzzled look when Sunday morning his dad asked him if Billy was still in bed. Saturday as we sat around the table on the porch with all the Danzas was such a deja vu. Noticing that all the girls were at one end and the guys at the other I crossed the line and politely asked Angela (the rebel) if I could get her anything, turning the tables on years of fraternal abuse. They all howled. Later I was let in on an inside joke, just for me and the girls. Good stuff. Albert, tell em I'll take it to my grave ... or at least to Minnesota. Nah, I'll stay mum. There were some interesting reactions to the snapshots of some Bob M's etchings that were in my ND photo album. It was a long drive home, and took me two nights of solid sleep to recover. Fox
